Starz Network Does It Again

STARZ Network along with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are bringing a serious topic to the surface that’s necessary to discuss.  There are precautionary measures that adults can take to educate their kids in effort to make sure your child never falls victim to abduction.

On Wednesday November  19th, Joy Behar moderated a panel at NYC’s Soho House where I joined fellow media professionals to mark the NCMEC’s 30th anniversary and support the network’s eight-part series thriller, “The Missing” (Saturday’s at 9pm ET/PT

John Walsh

John Walsh, who we all know and love from “America’s Most Wanted” is one of this country’s fiercest advocates for victims rights and currently  hosting CNN’s “The Hunt,” talked about the parallels of the series with his own experience as a father whose child was abducted. When asked for tips/advice for concerned parents, Walsh said, “Parent up and talk to your kids.  Don’t assume it can’t happen to you…whether you’re in Beverly Hills or the Hamptons…predators are everywhere.” Walsh also lamented the fact that instances of missing Hispanic and black children rarely get significant media attention.

POWER on Starz Network

I had the privilege of attending the premiere party and red carpet for Starz’s new television series “POWER,” on June 2nd.  From Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh (The Good Wife) comes this visionary crime drama set in two different worlds the glamorous New York club scene and the brutal drug trade.  “POWER,” airs this Saturday on Starz at 9pm est.  I also spoke with stars who came out to support their pal 50 including Russell Simmons, Chris Rock and Mob Wives star Renee Graziano and even got to play my favorite game “VALidated or Vetoed with Chris.  Check it out and be sure to tune in this weekend.
