I was at a charity dinner a month ago and listened to Michele Bachmann express how excited she was to be running for President. I wonder whether it was her infamous Elvis quote that landed her in sixth place in the Iowa caucuses.
“Before we get started, let’s all say ‘Happy Birthday’ to Elvis Presley today.” -Rep. Michele Bachmann, while campaigning for president in South Carolina on what was actually the anniversary of Elvis’s death, Aug. 16, 2011 (Elvis was born on January 8)
Hope everyone had a great holiday season! Check out the lovely story Divagalsdaily.com wrote about my contribution. You can watch me interview all the A-List celebs that came out and contributed to the coat drive!
The DivaGals were busy during the holidays! Our contributing reporter Valerie Greenberg caught up with her TV pal, Elle‘s fashion director Joe Zee as the All on the Line Sundance Channel star hosted a New York Cars Coat Drive inside Bloomingdale’s on Lexington Avenue in New York City last month.
Joe’s celebrity friends, including Parenthood‘s Lauren Graham, Hot in Cleveland‘s Valerie Bertinelli, Covet Affairs‘ Piper Perabo and Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe, among others, were on hand to lend a sleeve (or two!) to the cause.
Check out below where Valerie gets the scoop on why they were so eager to get involved and help keep the nation’s less fortunate warm this winter.
Missed Joe’s Sundance series? You can download the entire second season on iTunes.
