The Adventures of YouvebeenVALidated!

Wow! May I just say…what a whirlwind of a week celebrating some of the best in the business.  I wanted to share a round up of all the incredibly cool events I am so grateful for having been able to attend over the past few days. My new friend Kimberly Guilfoyle who we know and love for her brains and beauty on Fox News’ The Five graced the cover of 25 A Magazine and partied with Fox pals including Stacey Dash and Diana Falzone at the very trendy eatery Hunt and Fish Club in NYC. So much respect and admiration for a fellow on-air journalist whose accomplishments far surpass inspirational.

Simultaneously, Resident Magazine hosted their Harry Hamlin cover party in soho so my bestie and queen of indie film casting world Adrienne Stern and I went from one to the other.

Earlier that day I spoke with Oscar Winner Susan Sarandon at the screening of her new film with Rose Byrne out just in time for Mother’s Day called The Meddler.  Life can sometimes be so serendipitous because the talented Lorene Scafaria who wrote and directed the feature also happened to have been the random kind gal I asked to help zip my dress at a Women In Film Brunch weeks prior. You never really do know who you could be talking to. Emmy Winning TV Producer Amy Rosenblum was also one of the awesome influencers in the audience.

Friday, I attended Waitress which is in previews on Broadway with my partner in crime NAUGHTY Gossip’s Rob Shuter. The usher recognized him and didn’t even notice Meg Ryan was right across from us. That gave us a good giggle.

Yesterday evening entrepreneur turned actor who I’m so proud to call my friend Nick Loeb had a huge turn out at the AMC in Times Square at the screening of his new film Precious Cargo where his comedy crushed it. Friends of Loeb you may have heard of…(more like definitely have)…that showed up toshow support included fashion icon Vera Wang. The film stars the one and only Bruce Willis and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Shout out to newcomer Jenna Kelly who was also in attendance at the screening. She’s definitely one to look out for.

“Stealing Chanel” at the International Film Festival of Manhattan

“Fashion! Turn to the left…turn to the right… Fashion!” This news deserves some David Bowie beats. I mean who doesn’t love fashion? Last October I joined model/actress Lydia Hearst and former 7th Heaven heartthrob Adam LaVorgna on set of their upcoming feature which will premiere at the International Film Festival of Manhattan later this month.
As a television host I couldn’t have been more flattered when cast as the news reporter in the movie also starring Supermodel Carol Alt and my dear friend/stylist to the stars Phillip Bloch. More exciting updates to come regarding distribution but one thing is certain…”Stealing Chanel,” will provide the audience with major style house access. Director Roberto Mitrotti truly assembled an all-star team hitting this project out of the ball park. #stealingfromtherichtogivetothepoorlydressed;) #youvebeenVALidated

Throw an A List Worthy Oscar Viewing Party

The most prestigious awards show…The Oscars takes place on February 22nd and just because many of us are watching from home doesn’t mean we can’t still have a fabulous time.  I recently chatted with Let’ Talk Live in D. C. and shared tips to throw the party that is the most talked about at the water cooler.  What would be a must have at your red carpet themed celebration?–24454.html
