I spent my weekend rubbing elbows with the movers and shakers in Manhattan for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The hot spot was most definitely the GBK Lounge located on the 2nd floor of The Empire Hotel. The gifting suite was filled with brands that embraced me with open arms and shared their fabulous product lines with celebs that came by in between shows. Each company had a unique tie into the fashion world. Pilot Pen and Nicholas K collaborated on a dress that was literally made from pens. Hard Candy was on site with their beauty team touching up talent and Michael Todd True Organics was giving away the tool to clear skin. What really resonated with me was that Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research was present and educating guests on the important work that they do. EMK Beverly Hills provided botanical placental skin care products while Cynthia Gale and Jane Basch jewelry showcased their unique jewelry designs. Skinny & Co was giving out their multi purpose coconut oil which you can either eat or use as a face mask. Talk about fun right!!!
