Wow! May I just say…what a whirlwind of a week celebrating some of the best in the business. I wanted to share a round up of all the incredibly cool events I am so grateful for having been able to attend over the past few days. My new friend Kimberly Guilfoyle who we know and love for her brains and beauty on Fox News’ The Five graced the cover of 25 A Magazine and partied with Fox pals including Stacey Dash and Diana Falzone at the very trendy eatery Hunt and Fish Club in NYC. So much respect and admiration for a fellow on-air journalist whose accomplishments far surpass inspirational.
Simultaneously, Resident Magazine hosted their Harry Hamlin cover party in soho so my bestie and queen of indie film casting world Adrienne Stern and I went from one to the other.
Earlier that day I spoke with Oscar Winner Susan Sarandon at the screening of her new film with Rose Byrne out just in time for Mother’s Day called The Meddler. Life can sometimes be so serendipitous because the talented Lorene Scafaria who wrote and directed the feature also happened to have been the random kind gal I asked to help zip my dress at a Women In Film Brunch weeks prior. You never really do know who you could be talking to. Emmy Winning TV Producer Amy Rosenblum was also one of the awesome influencers in the audience.
Friday, I attended Waitress which is in previews on Broadway with my partner in crime NAUGHTY Gossip’s Rob Shuter. The usher recognized him and didn’t even notice Meg Ryan was right across from us. That gave us a good giggle.
Yesterday evening entrepreneur turned actor who I’m so proud to call my friend Nick Loeb had a huge turn out at the AMC in Times Square at the screening of his new film Precious Cargo where his comedy crushed it. Friends of Loeb you may have heard of…(more like definitely have)…that showed up toshow support included fashion icon Vera Wang. The film stars the one and only Bruce Willis and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Shout out to newcomer Jenna Kelly who was also in attendance at the screening. She’s definitely one to look out for.
