As I’m sure you may have heard, Ryan Lochte was dropped by SPEEDO. Captivate which provides entertainment content during your elevator ride recently administered a survey about Ryan and the additional swimmers involved in the Rio robbery scandal. The results were not in Ryan’s favor and most participants feel as though his apology isn’t sincere. As someone who hails from his alma matter the University of Florida and worked with him right after his success in 2008’s Beijing Olympics, I do feel for him and while I don’t think this he handled this incident properly initially, I do appreciate the steps he is taking to make things right to the best of his ability and agree with those in this study that his apology is sincere.
