Alizé celebrated the first day (and night) of summer in style with an all out bash at Hotel on Rivington to celebrate the debut of the Alizé Mix Squad, a first of its kind all female DJ program. The evening was hosted by the multi-talented singer, actress and TV personality Adrienne Bailon, who had heads turning in her hot pink LaQuan Smith skirt and American Apparel top. How she selected her ensemble you ask? “I’m obsessed with bright colors for the summer. I just got back from Arizona shooting a movie so I’m tan which helps.” The great thing about this skirt is that it actually sucks in the tummy.”
The evening celebrated the convergence of today’s hottest DJs including Nina Sky, DJ Kiss, DJ Rashida, Jessica Who?, DJ Niena Drake, DJ Eque and DJ Dimepiece.
Adrienne also told me that Alizé is definately one of her favorite liquors. “I love what they stand for, its about women and empowerment and the fact that these are the first crew of djs who are all women, I love it.”
Between sipping Alizé cocktails and dinning on custom Baked by Melissa cupcakes, guests, including “Basketball Wives” star Meeka Claxton, danced to the sets of the Alizé Mix Squad.
